Our Physicians

All our physicians are double-board certified in colon and rectal surgery and general surgery.

A team approach to patient care means patients can access a surgeon during regular work hours, evenings, and weekends. This also means a specialist is always on call to meet your needs.

Our History

Our practice was founded in 1986 by the late Dr. Leela Prasad, a pioneer in complex colorectal surgery in the Chicago area and, later, in robotics in the colorectal field. Today our group is proud to serve patients throughout Chicagoland, Northern Illinois, Northern Indiana, and Southern Wisconsin. Our physicians are widely respected by colleagues locally, nationally, and internationally. In addition, all three physicians proudly hold academic positions at major Chicago universities.

We strive to offer a comprehensive range of colon, rectal, and anal surgery services and the highest level of medical care by combining surgical expertise with state-of-the-art technologies. We address each patient’s needs and demands using a patient-centered, compassionate approach to care.
